Esperos Palace has the feel of a genuinely majestic hotel: the foyer, dining areas, bars, spa and pool all sit comfortably alongside what you'd expect from a grand, upper-end property, and it's clear a lot of care and expense has gone into the place. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and breakfast was a real highlight; generous, well presented, and full of traditional dishes that made it worth lingering over each morning. Kastoria is a beautiful spot and Esperos Palace is a lovely base from which to enjoy it. We'd happily return.
The gym was excellent for an aerobic workout, though a wider selection of free weights would round it out nicely for anyone doing strength training. The only other things we'd flag are small and easily fixed: the water in the room wasn't topped up during our stay, and while hand and bath towels were provided, face towels were missing. None of that took away from a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Location was a little bit far from center but for people who want to walk it was perfect.

Estero’s Palace Luxury & Spa Hotel looked and felt great as you walked in. We were expecting more than what was available. Staff at the front desk were inattentive at times but the staff at the bar were great and very accommodating. Surprised us one evening with a lovely cheese board. Thank you to the team at the bar. Location is quiet but you need a car to get to cafes and restaurants in town.
Breakfast was not very good, air conditioning did not work and in the heat this was not tolerable. Even though we knew the pool and spa was an additional fee, I would have expected access to the pool to be included in the price of the room.
