The resort is in a nice location with direct private beach access, spread out over a reasonable size area. The two pool areas are well maintained and offer a teally luxurious setting.
The weather was quite windy during our stay in July. This seems to be quite normal and often. However, the hotel almost battened down the hatches (which was unnecessary) which gave a feel of being out of season. All the chair pads and scatter cushions were removed so you couldn’t really sit anywhere. All the parasols were closed up which meant there was reduced shade.
The hotel did not put anything in place to cope with the weather that was apparently a regular occurrence. Wouldn’t be difficult to fasten in the cushions as opposed to leave bare spring seats.
The outdoor cinema played twice in a 7 day stay because of wind - again no other provision in place.
Pool entertainment was also reduced.
A real shame that we felt we had paid high season price but got a low season treatment. I think the hotel need to consider how they deal with the wind more effectively. Everyone still sunbathes - it’s still hot and sunny!!

The staff were absolutely fantastic: incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay.
The breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of choice and high-quality food, and we also really enjoyed the dinners. The hotel itself is a true oasis of calm, perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind.
The rooms were beautiful and spotless, the massage we had was wonderful, and the open-air cinema was such a fun and unique experience.
We also appreciated having the option to choose a quieter pool area without music.
Drinks, especially the wine, were quite expensive, although the quality was excellent.
We would have loved to see more authentic Greek dishes on the dinner menu.
Since we stayed for 10 nights, the open-air cinema programme started repeating after a week, so a bit more variety would have been nice.
In addition, the music at some of the pools was sometimes too loud, and genres like techno or house didn't always fit the otherwise relaxing atmosphere, particularly in the mornings.

We liked the lovely pool near the beach and the beach. I had a spa experience and it was lovely. The food/ buffet was also very good.
I did not like the welcome drink. Not very welcome at all after driving for hours to get there. Very cheap I thought. Has anyone actually even tasted it? I also did not like the hard up- sell in the spa. I did not like the welcome glacé cherries in the room - does anyone ever eat them? I’ve been to many Grecotels and they are much better with welcome drinks etc. I found the staff at reception rather chaotic. I did not like the fact that they were leaving the spoil of whatever in wheelbarrow loads to the side of the hotel. I did not like the cost of the drinks. Eg 9 euros for a small glass of wine - you can buy a bottle next door in the mini mart.
