The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean, and it had a very pleasant layout with the pool by the restaurant. The location was pretty good as well with a short walk to the beach on a pathway running (almost) straight to the sea from the hotel gate. The stay was very peaceful! We liked the pool as well and it got a good bit of shade after 4pm.
We thought the food bland: there were few really good flavourful foods; it was generally okay, but nothing special. Vegetarian options were limited on most days. Also, there were a lot of smokers and though there were 'smoking' and 'non-smoking' areas, the 'smoking' areas flanked the 'non-smoking' area on both sides so it was difficult to feel away from smoking. The beach by the hotel was good for experienced older swimmers, but not really suitable for young kids because of waves.

Brilliant value for money, lovely big pool and layout, awesome location, very helpful and hardworking staff, great air con and fridge in the room and delicious food. We loved it here and felt we got a great deal!
The rooms were very comfortable and had everything you needed but the decor was a bit basic but really couldn’t complain for the price we paid.

First and foremost, excellent value for money. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners (all-inclusive) were enjoyable, even though the menu is somewhat repetitive. However, there is a good variety at the buffet, so everyone should find something they like, including children—pizza and fries are usually available daily. Drinks in the all-inclusive option are self-served from a tap. Strong alcoholic drinks are not included but are available for an extra charge; local beer as well as white and rosé wine are included.
The rooms are quite spacious, have a small fridge, and are cleaned regularly. Each room has a fairly large TV, which makes it nice to watch from the bed (currently, Polish TV channels are only music channels). The pools are clean, and finding a spot isn’t a problem, at least in October (sunbeds and umbrellas are included). The beach is just across the street, about a 4-minute walk from the hotel. During the high season, parking right in front of the building might be difficult (reservations are likely not possible).
The staff at the reception and restaurant are very friendly. The location is great for those who want to explore the island—distances are reasonable both to Kissamos (ferries/boats to the lagoon) and in the other direction, to Heraklion or the mountains (observatory at 1,700 m above sea level).
There is no exercise room available - a small gym with just 2–3 multifunction machines and a treadmill would be sufficient. Ideally, there would also be an option to reserve a parking spot. Beach and pool towels are available for rent, but with a non-refundable fee (likely to cover laundry costs).
