The resort was very nice and the staff made sure everything was thoroughly cleaned
The immediate approach by the so-called concierge who constantly harassed you to attend a 90 minute timeshare which turns out to be 4 hours of your vacation. She followed us Everywhere!!!! Once you finally agree to attend, you are pressured by a series of 4-6 pushy reps who refused the answer of No!!! I had to yell for them to leave me alone!!! We only agreed to attend because it was supposedly a 90 minute presentation, the free excursion and the constant pressure of the concierge. Please dont fall for this scam like we did!!! Its enough being constantly pressured at the airport to sign up for the timeshare presentation but at the resort as well is an absolute TURN-OFF!! Not to mention the beach!!! Dont expect to enjoy your relaxation in the sun on the beach. The locals will harass you to buy jewelry, shirt, blankets, drugs, etc. You will find enjoyment only around the pool...well not really because the ladies from the spa will worry you to death about attending the spa. I could go on and on....just practice on ignoring these folks and you will be ok. I guess.

Definitely the best all inclusive I have been to food wise. Every restaurant was very good except Carbon. Carbon has a great concept and it could be excellent but they just don’t put any seasoning on the meat or fish. It’s so bland. We had a group of 12 at dinner and we felt bad because they brought out so many different cuts of meat, fish, and shrimp and no one really ate it - it was that bland. We were warned by people at the pool that they too had bland meat/fish so we even asked our server to add seasoning as we heard it was very bland and that was most likely ignored. Loved the pool, beach, staff, and all other restaurants. Rooms were very spacious and clean - a little outdated but the cleanliness and space you get clearly made up for the cheaper countertops and lighting.
The hotel has no official concierge. The concierge is made up entirely of timeshare sales people so the only “deals” they can get you on things like golf, fishing, excursions are if you attend a sales presentation. This was very disappointing as I am very used to going to other all inclusives where the concierge can arrange cheaper golf than what I find online or GolfNow and arrange my transportation - same with excursions.

We loved the location, the pool, the beach access and the staff
We arrived on Friday. We had no hot water Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday mornings. All we were offered was “You can use the spa facilities. They have hot water.”. The plumbing everywhere was at the end of its design life and needs to be upgraded.
The room was nice but dated. They gym equipment was lower end. They had one exercise bike which didn’t work. The elevator nearest our room was out of order with no effort being made to repair it. we had to use the stairs.
We HATED the pressuring to go to a time share presentation. We originally agreed but changed our mind. When we backed out we were asked to return our meal discount cards. Haha. That was lame.
The only way the hotel would assist in booking activities or getting discounts for activities was if we would agree to listen to a presentation. Our experience is that these presentations are high pressure even though they assure you they won’t be.
The restaurants were okay but way overpriced. We paid a lot for very small portions. For instance, $25 for fish and chips that included 4 very small fish portions.
