It had a beautiful view over lake Windermere and had plenty of space for relaxing
The room had a few hairs in the sink when I went in. Also, the self catered dining room smelt odd and very dark vs the main dining room

Formidable location, just on the lake, rooms views are amazing, staff is amazing, facilities are also amazing for a hostel. I would definitely come back !!🤍

Can't beat the location right on the banks of Lake Windermere. The 6 bed female dorm I stayed in was comfy, with views directly overlooking the lake. Was a bit hard to find a free shower in the morning. I didn't have the breakfast but it looked good.

Great location right by the lake.
We felt the receptionist was quite patronising. Most questions asked were answered in a rather sarcastic way. I asked a simple question. Did we have a room overlooking the lake? Her response was go upstairs to the room, see if it’s a Lakeview come back down and tell me! Who would say that to a new patron arriving at the establishment.
