The staff were very friendly and helpful. the room was spacious with very comfortable beds. It was a reasonable base for the sites and I would recommend to my children for a cheaper family stay.
I need to bare in mind that this was a more 'economy' hotel , so I shouldn't compare it to the more premium brands. We felt the food was okay, breakfast was a bit better than the evening meal. We didn't feel that dining was relaxing; the area wasn't very big and I think the nature of visitors meant that it was 'busy'. Also, and it can't be helped, the bedroom overlooking the car park meant it was very noisy in the evening.

The breakfast at Wookey Hole Hotel offered a good variety of options, including a selection of cooked and cold meats, freshly prepared pastries, and a range of other breakfast choices. Overall, there was a pleasant selection to cater to different tastes and preferences.
The family rooms were looking a little tired and showed some signs of wear and tear. However, this was not unexpected given the hotel’s popularity with families and the high level of use these rooms are likely to receive. Overall, the room was comfortable and functional for a family stay.

The location, the friendly staff, the room with the balcony, the well-stocked and plentiful breakfast and the cleanliness of the room. Seemed like good value for money too.
Decor and furniture a little tired and odd placings of furniture. We had 2 small round tables in ours and a long desk with just 1 chair up one end. A fold up bed was also blocking the hanging rail. No doors on shelving unit or in front of the hanging rail. Reception felt a bit like swimming pool/leisure centre reception, not a hotel.
