Just want to say thank you, we had a lovely stay at Wookey Hole Inn. Karen and Richard where very accommodating, food was fabulous always served hot, staff really polite and friendly linen and towels fresh and clean. Bathroom quirky..lol, will return

Amaizing service from the off, the staff on site were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the venue was superb, quite hippy with fantastic rooms which were comfortable and huge.

The Wookey Hole Inn is nothing if not quirky. For example, both our en suite and wardrobe were more or less semi-circular protrusions into the room and the entrance to the shower was a keyhole in a wall within the en suite. However, despite some physical deficiencies (see below), our stay was enjoyable, with a notably comfortable bed, a powerful shower and the best wifi of our 3 week trip, not to mention that the people who run the place were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
The property is old and in need of updating. It is, for example, still single glazed and the internal walls allow too much sound transmission. We understand that the 'tatty' stairs carpet is due for renewal shortly but the shower in our room needs re-tiling and there were absolutely no shelves or hooks in our en suite. The bedroom lighting could also have been better and the bed, though extremely comfortable to lie in, is equally uncomfortable to sit up in.
