Bad reception and room service!

Food was okay.

Checked in on 6th May at 5pm, the reception girl with spects didn't know how to deal with clients. My first impression was really annoying. Heard she receiving calls from guests, and it was very unpleasant the way she talked with them. It took hours to bring our luggage to checkout. Staff seems they don't care about locals. I am not comfortable with recommending this to another person.

Very bad experience, location was very far from Colombo and roads were very bad

breakfast - Was average with limited options, no veg options Room - AC was not working, after multiple reminders , they checked and night we have to shift the room whch was worse then earlier. Dinner- again limited option and was crowded due to limited space

Staff- Very rude, also they couldn't speak and didn't understand English

Just ok- won’t return or recommend

The pool was nice, food was ok

There were bugs in my shower, wooden sun loungers at the pool with no cushions, weird men accosting you on the beach trying to take you on trips and reception ordered me a cab to Colombo for 8000 SLR, an Uber on return cost little over 1000! Reception were really quite useless to be honest.

We really was impressed by the staff they were very helpful extremely friendly.

The property was well maintained very clean we loved our stay

I feel you need to look at your bars stocking diet or light in sugar soft drinks. I am diabetic and you had no mixers I could drink. I’d suggest the fishery has more snacks on the menu like sandwiches or toaties etc….

Pleasant week with nice staff

Great receipt with a drink and relaxed check-in. The room was spacious, with TV, small fridge and coffee/tea facility. The staff was all over very friendly and willing to help. The view over the back garden with palm trees and the sea was great. Nice bars, sitting in the sea breeze, very pleasant.

The shower could give some more water, althought the termperature was good.

Quite good had space to enjioy the evening walking and seeing the sunset and the beach

Breakfast was good, Dinner (buffet) was good but can improve, Rooms were good Good old hotel I spent my Honey moon in 1973 Fifty years back, when many hotels have deteriorated, Pegasus has been maintained well

On the outset we were put in to a ground floor room we changed it to a 3 rd floor room

Comfortable stay. Hotel could improve on their services.

Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel surroundings were tidy. Buffet breakfast was good. Staff in dining room, housekeeping, porters and doorman were very polite and helpful. We booked for the Sunday buffet lunch for a group of 25, and the staff member assigned to look after us on the day was very helpful and accommodating.

In-house dining and Sunday buffet is very expensive due to exorbitant taxes being added on to the cost. Hotel staff did not mention this at the time of booking, until the receipt is produced for payment. Front reception staff are very vague in their communication/ actions and check-in and check-out was not a smooth process and took time.

Beach facing, clean rooms, prompt service, decent vegetarian options for breakfast and dinner.

It's a bit in the middle of nowhere, so make sure u either book your meals or have a car.

Good food. Great staff. Amazing location.

Great location. The breakfast and dinner were buffet style and there were many options to select from. The room was clean and the staff was always friendly. I've stayed at this hotel several times in the past, and I can assure you that they always have maintained the same level of quality and service.

There was a huge tree blocking our balcony view. I'm totally against cutting trees, and therefore I suggest that the hotel should set the customers' expectations beforehand, or maybe discount the rates for these types of rooms. This wasn't a huge problem, cause we only stayed one night. Not complaining, just some feedback.
