An absolutely wonderful stay

Loved the cleanliness, location, service from the staff..I traveled with a one year old and was in the city for a wedding shopping for one my friend..Miss.Anjali there was very kind enough to suggest some amazing boutiques and was very helpful to organise South Indian food for my little one

the uniqueness of each room and concept is excellent.

Best stay in years

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Only a small hotel but what they lack in size is more than made up for by everything else.. Our room was not huge, but beautifully designed, modern and spotless. Breakfast was excellent, a mix of buffet & fresh order. The restaurant & bar was also excellent. Next time in Mumbai we will stay there again.

Nothing. Being only small, they don't have a pool or gym, but that didn't count as everything else was so good.

Artsy, friendly and clean.

The modern, artsy feel to the hotel is refreshing! I booked the hotel from seeing the artful rooms. I was surprised by the extra effort they went into by providing some complimentary snack and coconut water. I also asked if I could courier a small box to them ahead of my stay at the hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Meals was served at the restaurant next to the hotel. (Not sure if it is part of the hotel). I would have like to have a menu in the room for room service, as I do like to have breakfast in my room. When I phoned to order, I was told that they have buffet breakfast downstairs. I insisted to order room service as they assured me that they offer it. I finally went ahead and ordered egg and toast with coffee, but would have like to have the menu option.

Lovely little boutique hotel in a pleasant area of Mumbai . It's a rather small property with narrow stairs/ corridors and small lift. So, those who are used to staying in chain, branded hotels and prefer those, then it's not for you. This hotel is for those who wish to experience something classy, artistic and unique. Although, it's small, it's rooms are large and the interior decor / furniture is unique and outstanding. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Breakfast choices good be more extensive. Otherwise a good, little , boutique hotel.

it was my third stay in the hotel and I would book it again.

The price-performance ratio is really attractive since the Hotel is located in Bandra which is the best place to stay in mumbai and still you don’t pay a fortune. moreover it’s a boutique hotel with descent interior and the service is really good.

Value for money with a 'thematic' stay experience

1. The rooms are theme based..."Maya" room; "Vasana room"! 2. The bathtub and the bathroom 3. The paintings and the freize in the room are top class 4. The restaurant below is super.

Check the checkin

Everything was wonderful except for checkin. This is a fablous hotel, spotlessly clean and with absolute attention to detail. The food and variety of dishes excellent. Having tried the Olive restaurant I preferred the Le Sutra resturant any day. Have to add the location is ideal for trips to the more historical sites.

I booked and paid for four rooms. The 4th room was an addition made after original booking and close to arrival time. This additional room cost two thirds the totalt of the combined 3 rooms previously booked. But this additional room at the inflated cost was not the room I was given but rather given to a member of my party. 3 double rooms were originally book but my sister was given a single room based (according to checkin staff) on occupancy. All 3 rooms were charged at the same price. The 4th room booked, cost a little less than the combined other 3 rooms I had booked. The superking room was given to a group member and I recived the lovely, clean but uninspired double room on a separate floor to the rest of my booking. As I was the last to arrive I took what was given rather than move my guest around. But a real disappointment in another wise fabulous experience. Yes if in Mumbai I would undoubtedly stay at the La Sutra but will clarify room details prior to completing booking

Loved the service

The room service was amazing, and the attention to detail and small personal gestures such as a small dia outside the room gave Diwali made the stay wonderful. The room decoration was classy and sleek.

A/C in the room (noisy), after two nights, we changed the room (twice) and we finally got a "normal" A/C Advice to the Hotel: think seriously to change the A/C units in some rooms (307 & 207)
