practical but tired

location..quaint decor..

Convenient and comfortable, but could do with a little tidying up.

We loved the location, just one street down from the main part of town, great spot to wander from.

There was very little ambience, there is a fireplace in the lounge but it wasn't lit, possibly because staff are only there until 6pm.

Fantastic get away location for the family

Beautiful and huge old house, plenty of space for the granddaughter to play. Fantastic location there is a bus close by that goes to all the attractions and the RSL for very good and reasonable priced dinners if you don’t feel like cooking.

No dish washer.

unprofessional reception

Location

Poor customer service: The reception was closed earlier than stated in the policy due to Easter Holiday which I can understand. We arrived at 5.30 and reception was closed. We have chosen to pay at property but the reception didn’t wait for our arrival and charged our credit card without noticing us. As the owner is away for holiday, no one can handle the case and the reception even blamed us on providing the credit card to Booking.com. It’s unbelievable how unprofessional this hotel is.

有早餐就很不错了。位置还行，居家旅馆的体验是最好了，尤其复古的大厅大堂，体验甚好。

关于厕所里热水可能会引发报警的警示，让人洗澡的时候胆战心惊。。。这点不太好。其实热水非常舒服，用起来就会有点怕。

Goede ligging in de Blue Mountains

Leuke inrichting. Ligging is super, alle startpunten voor wandelingen zijn erg dichtbij met de auto. Goede wifi

Zeer gehorige accommodatie. Als je met kleine (luidruchtige) kinderen reist, raad ik dit zeer af om mede reizigers niet tot last te zijn.

Het is raar om een hotel te boeken en niemand van het personeel te zien. Niet bij het inchecken, niet bij het ontbijt en niet bij het uitchecken

Grand hotel, charming and great value.

Great hotel, we enjoyed everything about it. The best bed I have ever slept on. The location is superb, continental breakfast was included. Staff were lovely, we went next door to the RSL for dinner. We also stopped by the coffee shop across the road. Bus stop right out the front as well. What more could you want, we will be back.

A quirky old fashioned hotel, excellent location for touring the Blue Mountains

It was a very hands off approach to breakfast but comfy beds and very clean rooms, excellent location too

The electrics were not up to date in the rooms, extention leads used alot. Reception was not manned for most of our stay but a lovely lady was there on our last morning and she was very helpful.

Exactly what I expected and required.

Great for families

Lovely venue, beautiful building, and very friendly staff - would stay again.

The building is old, so power sockets in the rooms are in funny places and be prepared for dim lighting and old furniture/ beds.

Location, historic old building, bfast was included loved that.

The only thing was the toilet didn't flush well. But after mentioning to staff, they explained it's because the building is so old and has ancient plumbing

Great value for money for an overnight trip to Blue Mountains. Continental breakfast included. walking distance to Echo Point for Three Sisters viewing. Bus stops right out front. Fabulous coffee shop opposite and RSL next door for dinner. Heritage building but we found it very comfortable.

a good place to stay warm

the lounge with the fireplace was nice to sit in after a day exploring. the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. having a bar with snacks was a nice touch

the room was small and breakfast was basically toast and cereal.

Great old Hotel highly recommended

Great older 1920/30s hotel in excellent condition. Quirky interior with passageways, staircases and rooms here and there. Would be a great location for an Agatha Christie movie. Room was smallish but was fully renovated and very comfortable. Price included continental breakfast and it was interesting to see the other guests staying there. Like a scene from Evil under the Sun 😀😀😀

Was located a bit away from the main town area but was opposite the RSL club so eating out was easy.

not clean as we saw a cockroach. old bathroom. limited parking spots available (but free off site parking available so not a big deal)

The close proximity to town, the Three Sisters, coffee shops, train station and bus stops. Staff kindness and helpfulness was truly appreciated during my stay.

A picturesque pit-stop

The room was great, open, light and airy. It had modern facilities but kept the old world charm, lovely. Breakfast was great and the mountain air through the windows was so refreshing.

The exit sign light near the door was next level bright even with a cover over. It made it very hard to sleep. The king bed was also fairly uncomfy as the two singles used together were different heights and mattress firmness.

Disappointing

We organised to have our pets there as it said let friendly, and we only chose this place for that simple fact, we paid extra to have the pets. The next morning the Sunday worker said that we weren't allowed to have two dogs even though I had asked before we booked if it was ok. Otherwise I wouldn't have booked it. So we had to drive all the way back to Sydney to drop off the dogs. Not happy at all.
