Good location needs some tlc

Great location in the edge of town close to main attractions and mountain walks. Perfectly adequate for a short trip to the mountains and surrounding area.

Quite old and in need of a bit of TLC, shower very hot but did flood the bathroom, suspect electrical items, light in bathroom had no shade, cracked sockets, needed a good clean of carpets behind bed, but ok for the money. Local wildlife likes to run over roof during the night 😂

I would probably not stay there again because of the location and the fact the bathroom was poor and the room had backgr

comfortable, good value for money, most facilities provided in the room to cater for breakfast. it was clean.

the location was a bit too far from the railway station. An uphill 20 mins walk with suitcases. The bathroom was cold and had no heating. The hot water ran out in the morning. the sink plug did not hold water and the tap was lose and needed attention. The room was noisy as it was next to a boiler room.

for the amount of money I spent for one night it’s not worth it

the place was run down. Room was shabby and the curtain fixtures were nothing more than rags. the bathroom fan smelled of mould.disgusting

Fantastic and would highly recommend

We were surprised by the cleanliness of the bathroom/bedroom and how comfortable the bed was. Really liked the walk-in shower due to having a bad knee

That the restaurant was out of action. Look forward to when it reopens

Poor

The room was what I expected for an overnight stay.

The mattress was not comfortable. The is a motor nearby which cuts in & out. Similar to a refrigerator motor. From outside the room it is barely noticeable. However inside it seems to reverberate. As a poor sleeper it was most disturbing. It was not the rooms aircon unit.

comfortable beds and nice that we could borrow dvds and games when it was raining!

if I had to say something it would just be the room was quite small for a family. however it was good value so no complaints

The room was basic but clean and comfortable. 15 minute walk to town centre. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Thin walls. Could hear the next rooms tv and voices so we gather the next room could hear ours too.

fabulous facilities in a great locale

great location a short walk to katoomba. off the highway and in a lovely leafy locale. rooms were clean and recently decorated. facilities top rate including a toaster and a small fridge and microwave which were very useful. loved the pool - a swim among the gumtrees in the morning was very refreshing. staff also very helpful.

the dvd didn’t work which was a shame as they had a great selection in the reception to borrow. but she did try to fix it and I suspect it was previous user error that broke it!

As stated, the stay would have been better if the Motel met all criteria advertised

Older facility but in tidy order

I narrowed my search down to several possibilities on the strength of the reviews. I picked the Skyrider because of the strong breakfast reviews. So was disappointed to be told that the breakfast facility and kitchen is now closed. Because people do their due diligence when booking accommodation I believe they should receive notification if any changes in conditions occurs.

Comfortable beds

There were heater for the bed which made a cozy night warmer and comfortable. Even the motel is quite basic but the beds are very comfortable. Heater was good for bath, only the internet was a bit not stable during the night..
