Located in the middle of urban Basel, the pocket-size cosmopolitan city, our hotel is very central and only two minute walk from Basel Badischer railway station. Also the fair and the city center is not far away from us.

Room was big and spotless. Beds are very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Perfect location, right next to the tram stop and only 10-15 min walk from Rhine river.

The shower - once I worked out that I had to leave it running for 3 minutes before use, it was boiling hot night and day

Excellent instructions throughout - this is a great hotel for people who don't want to meet too many staff!
Maid service was good
Electricity works constantly not just when I am in the room, hence enabling me to keep my phone charged
The price is not bad for Basel with free public transport throughout the city during my stay
Excellent location, right next to a train station
I had to work out that the shower needed to run for 3 minutes before it warmed up
The curtain had a mark on it
The front door to the hotel closes a little bit slowly which makes me worry that someone could come in behind me

Always my hotel of choice when travelling and working in Basel, good location. Lovely friendly staff. Cater excellently with my request for Gluten free breakfast.

No stairs. Only lifts. No staff on reception at night
