Delicious breakfast Very generous.
Brilliant location although you need to be prepared for steep walk up from the station if you’re coming that way. There are plenty of other options to the steep walk.

Beautiful historical building in a unique neighborhood; kept in immaculate condition. Beautiful wood floors. Spacious room and bathroom. Internal restaurant with shady outdoor terrace serving breakfast and dinner. Walkable to all sites in Gross Basel and Klein Basel. Many shops and restaurants within minutes. Tram stop adjacent, out the lower level accessible via internal elevator. Helpful reception.
On unusually hot days, no AC, but fan is provided. Ask for rooms opening onto courtyard for most quiet.
