Shout out to Maria in the restaurant - such a hard worker and delightful way with the guests
The carpets on each floor were dirty and well past their sell by date - they badly need replacing - I was quite shocked as the rest of the hotel is pristine
Towels were far from 5* - they feel 3* at best
The ac/ heating didn’t work very well - I had a couple of staff members visit to see if they could improve it but no joy
At 450 usd a night the rooms are adequate but not luxe - it didn’t feel like good value for money

Great location. Close to tram stops. Near the train station where you can easily catch a bus to and from the airport. TV had English speaking channels. There is a kettle in the room and a decent size fridge. Beds were comfortable. Location was quiet and felt safe. The movenpick vanilla and chocolate ice cream is an absolute must!!!!
Bath towels were small. Strange design feature with bath tap in shower sticking out making it awkward to move in the shower. No drawers in the room but plenty of hanging space. As a consequence more hangers needed.

The meal I had in the bistro was excellent, the breakfast also. The waiting staff were lovely. I had a large room with a view of the railway station.
The hotel is stingy with tea bags in the room, 1 each for 24 hours. I asked for a small jug of fresh milk for my room to have with the tea and I was told it would cost 7 Swiss francs! I have never encountered a charge for fresh milk before.
