Excellent location near train station and outside tram and bus station.
Room was bright and has good space , bathroom size very comfortable. Was on top floor facing tram station but didn’t get any noise
Good air con in the hot days
Need to lift suitcase up the stairs to reach hotel reception. No sloping path.
No kettle provided to make a cup of tea.

- nice staff
- clean sheets and towels
- convenient for trams around Basel
- big room with high ceilings
- quiet with zero street noise
- cool. Has ac in the rooms.
- The ground floor is not cooled and the doors were open at all times, so it was boiling hot. I mean boiling.
- open doors meant cigarette smoke in the ground floor.
- faint smell of cigarettes coming through the vent system. Ugh.
- this is like a good three star hotel
