The building gives the impression of being well maintained. The room was clean and the bed, though simple, was very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and give the impression of a great working environment.
There is no clear price advantage to being a YH member. So I found it a bit expensive when compared to hotels in the area.

Breakfast is fantastic! I couldn't ask for anything more. Many kinds of bread are available. Apart from the deli, the vegan/vegetarian options are also plenty. Some traditional German food is served too. I also highly recommend the homemade iced tea -- refreshing, flavourful, but balanced.
The pillow is a bit too airy and soft. It can't properly support my head when I'm lying on it. Other than that, everything is good.

Very responsive, ad-hoc reservation possible, 24/7 reception, elevator, really clean, fabulous breakfast, very easy to check-in and check-out, possibility to stay longer after check-out in the lounge with charging possibility for the phone and Wi-Fi
