Clean and tidy. Close to starlight express. Free games to play - jenga, table football etc. which we loved. Also liked the mirror in the bathroom.
A large art gorilla in the foyer had a rude English work on its rear left leg. We pointed this out to staff who didn’t seem to grasp the significance.
Decor was modern but I stayed at this hotel years ago and interior was more classy. Breakfast was nowhere near as good as when it was the renaissance.
Shower leaked over floor as no lip to keep water in.

This is a very well run hotel and it was a very positive experience. The location was perfect to Starlight Express, on sight parking was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the rooms are modern and cozy. Great lighting in the room. Beautiful bathroom. I also liked the fact that only hotel guests can take the elevator to the floors with rooms.
The air conditioner was either not working well, or the filters have to be cleaned. There is no shower door and water splashes out of the shower stall.

Only option frozen pizzas at restorant in weekends. Gim was not cleaned for days. AC did not work in my room, asked to fix that, nothing was done and did not even offered to change the room. I payed for stay with Booking, but hotel reserved additional money for weeks from my card.
