Thr staff was great! Thomas the owner is also the chef at a local restraunt. When we told him it was our anniversary we went to his place and he had set a special table for us . We felt like royalty. Breakfasts were awesome and the location is walkable to everything you need. We loved it!

The room and washroom was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly! And, the breakfast was outstanding!

Clean and comfortable with great winter rate. I've stayed here several times because it's the best place in the Douro region. The breakfast is especially good and the staff are friendly and top notch.
The weather. Bad year for rain in Portugal, unfortunately.
