We love our room as it was facing the road, though a bit noisy. The staff and room are excellent and Romanic was very helpful too.
The hot and cold shower water is not constant

Great view from the room, helpful staff, large room with plenty of space, and close to everything.
Small shower and funky hair dryer that looked like a vacuum cleaner and didn’t allow much movement.

Well, this hotel was a last minute decision - we discovered we had an extra day in our schedule, and found this hotel sitting in our car in the parking lot. I was expecting some outrageously expensive hotels in Gruyeres, so when the "Gruyere Rooms" came up, I thought they were going to be "low budget" fare. I was wrong!! The check-in was swift and thorough, I was expecting a shabby room - it was neat, great wood carvings here and there, and everything a room needed to be. Everything was functional, tidy, and the lady with the Petit Dejeuner the next morning was so gracious. The breakfast was so much more than I was expecting. Even the noise of living in a tourist resort was not bad at all - the town really shutdown and we could sleep with out 2 windows wide open all night long.
Hard to say - there was nothing we didn't like. I had no idea staying the night in Gruyeres would be so easy!!

Good location.
Elevator was not working for our trip upstairs with luggage. Staff elevator was, but staff did not volunteer it. They were really good at saying they were sorry, really good.
Very plain Superior Triple Room. One bedroom was through the bathroom. Table with one chair?
