Breakfast was good not too crowded coffee drinks service a little inconsistent
Gardens immaculate pool good also not too crowded pool bar closing early and pool bar food average
Access to sauna through spa old grass matting in pool access area of room should be replaced looks v shabby for an expensive room rate

Nice swimming pool; nice staff; kids corner in the hotel, and hotel restaurant McFarland House is really good.
The breakfast quality was really weak. Although the choice seems to be ok on the first sight, in fact this is not something what people normally expect from Thailand. Juices were some cheap low level category, the breads were not fresh and not tasty at all, and other food category was just so so. Another problem was the air condition in our room. When working (and it was almost impossible without it, of course), it was so loud, that there was not a peaceful sleeping at all, it made a feeling of starting helicopter, or maybe like a vacuum cleaner. These are only 2 problems, but significant enough to influence the holiday a lot. Another small problem was only, that the swimming pool closes at 18:30, what is a bit too early - but this was finally not a big deal.
