- Lovely landlord and staff - friendly and welcoming.
- Good cooked breakfasts plus limited buffet.
- Very quiet.
- Good value.
- Public areas between bar/dining room and bedrooms rather rough and ready - in need of quality decoration.
- Garden needs maintenance and new lawn, and tidying around the car park.
- Decor in bedroom needs updating.
- Very little hanging space (but adequate). But no clothes drawers at all - we stayed 5 nights and were not able to unpack.
- No door hooks in bedroom or bathroom. No shelves in bathroom.

The food.was not as good as expected

The food at Breakfast and dinner was excellent, the room was listed as a suite it was basically a room with a couch in it, a piece of wood on the wall to hang your clothes, No wardrobe, bathroom had a great shower but limited room apart from that, the room had a fan, however it was on the upper floor heat rises and was a hot night anyway so room temperature was unbearable, looking if i got 3hrs sleep.
The room wasnt as expected other places i have stayed when told a suite was a proper suite, this was a slightly bigger room with a couch
