I was amazed by the attentiveness of the staff. They were really the star of our experience. Buffet dinner and breakfast were pretty good.
It gets pretty crowded, specially during check-in. The pool was visibly dirty, we didn't get in for the whole stay. Activities times/options are rather limited, specially considering we're only staying one night, the trail can only be accessed with the staff, so we couldn't even go for a hike at our leisure. Lunch buffet didn't quite cut it.

The location was amazing and so was the staff, always friendly and helpful. Awesome guides on hikes and tours in the rain forest, along the golf course, the butterfly garden and the frog house. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The resort is in a great location so it is easy to get to the canal, Gamboa and even Casco Viejo is not too far. My only regret was not playing golf on this trip. Next time!

Good size room on a high floor (it is a 8 floor building) overlooking the rainforrest. There are two pools and a restaurant and sports bar (freezing cold, bring a jacket!). Ample parking.
The pools were quite dirty, and the food at the restaurant was mediocre. Overall a place I will not go again. One staff spilled my drink and didn't care and didn't clean. The hotel features receptions/weddings in the foyer - I had to walk through the wedding guests at the buffet to get to the elevator - awkward.

Location. The food is good (but restaurants physically awful). Views over the rainforest are spectacular- but choose the right rooms.
Avoid weekends when there are several private parties (weddings etc) and the hotel is full with loud Latin music everywhere - unless you like crowds and loud music. The restaurants are uncomfortable -one is buffet and over-lit and the other a sports bar. No privacy at all. Rooms are comfortable but aging quickly. It is a resort hotel masquerading as a rainforest retreat. I have no view on the golf facilities.
