The food here is great. A good sampling of St. Lucian cuisine. The staff are friendly and very accommodating, the rooms are clean, comfortable, private, and quiet. Is a very family friendly facility. Another plus is the location being within walking distance of some great restaurants like KeeBees, city center and an ice cream parlor, Elenas.

We were a little disappointed because the booking was for 2 double beds and when we arrived were told they had none left and we had to settle for a king bed. But they quickly corrected that in 2 days.

Fantastic staff. Great pool and bar/restaurant. Quality of lunch and dinner in the restaurant absolutely first class. Would be nice if the menu could be changed up with perhaps a 'dish of the day/chef's special' to add a bit of variety for people staying for a reasonable length of time. If the rest of the hotel had matched those aspects, we would be back again without a doubt.

Restaurant staffing levels, particularly at breakfast, were comically lacking. I think there were just two serving staff at one breakfast sitting. The lovely food, excellent staff and great bar service were all overshadowed by one big problem; the hallway outside the ground floor rooms is completely tiled. Every slight noise or chatter is amplified massively. We did not sleep beyond 07:30 on any morning. Besides the usual laughter and chatter from people walking past, we also had a maintenance chap checking all the light fittings by dragging a steel stepladder between each fitting at 07:15, but he was outdone on the very last day of our stay by a cleaner using a dustpan on a stick with a broom to sweep the entire length of the hallway very noisily at 06:10! Totally oblivious to the fact his banging of the broom on the skirting and against the dustpan was ridiculously loud. He did say sorry when I opened our door to stare in disbelief. Final comment; when you request a double room 12 months in advance, it is very disappointing to be given a twin room. Although we were eventually offered an 'upgrade' to an upper floor suite (we declined because we wanted poolside access and a patio), we never did get the promised move to another patio/pool room with a double bed.
