The whole studio was clean and had amazing views! Lots of amenities - Both a washing machine and dishwasher are in excellent condition, you get a few tablets for washing which is much appreciated! It's airy and lovely when all the windows are open- for extra hot days though, having Aircon was a big plus!! I looked at previous reviews before I booked the studio and can see they do listen and have made a few changes - shower head for example, functional and works great. It's a charming old town studio, on the top floor, so getting up is very narrow and opening the doors of the building can be a challenge, but that's all part of the charm of being in the old town. It didn't bother me but I can see how it can be difficult for some people... You're basically staying in the heart of Alfama, lots of cool places around... the noise can be heard during the weekend nights otherwise it was ok.
The ceilings really are low.. even though I'm not tall I still managed to hit my head 3-4 times! You need to be extra careful, so if you need a place for other things such as remote work or just staying a bit longer, I wouldn't recommend it as you also need a place to relax. I stayed 7 nights but found it hard to relax at times, as I worried whether I'll hit my head again.

Симпатичные уютные апартаменты в Лиссабоне, в самом сердце красивого района Alfama. Одно общее пространство с кухней, столовой и спальной зоной. На кухне микроволновка, плита, посуда и холодильник. Просторная кровать, есть диван и кондиционер. Неплохой wi-fi. Всё чисто и уютно. И окна - виды на реку, церкви и красные черепичные крыши. Нам всё очень понравилось.
Апартаменты находятся на верхнем этаже, подъём по узкой лестнице. Для нас это не было минусом, просто имейте ввиду.

The apartment is located in a fantastic part of Alfama and is within walking distance of many of Lisbon's main attractions. The location is excellent if you enjoy the atmosphere of the historic center and Lisbon's nightlife (especially Alfama's nightlife).
I stayed in the apartment for 10 days, which gave me enough time to experience both its strengths and its limitations. For longer stays, the washing machine, drying rack, and dishwasher are definite advantages and were much appreciated during my 10-day stay. But there are a few things that future guests should be aware of. There is no wardrobe or chest of drawers in the apartment. The only storage provided is a freestanding clothes rack for hanging shirts and trousers. This may be sufficient for a short weekend stay, but it is rather inconvenient for a stay of 10 days. Most of my belongings had to remain in the suitcase or on the sofa.
The apartment is situated in the attic, and the sloping roof significantly reduces usable space near the bed and the kitchen counter. Taller guests will need to be careful when moving around these areas.
During my stay, I also noticed several maintenance issues, including problems with lighting, the air-conditioning filters, and the condition of the bed linen. I reported these issues to the host, who responded politely and thanked me for the feedback.
One important point concerns the location itself rather than the apartment. Alfama is a lively neighborhood with restaurants, bars, and people socializing late into the night. My stay was in June and noise from the street often continued until 2–3 a.m. For visitors looking for a vibrant Lisbon experience, this may be a positive feature. For those planning a longer stay or expecting quiet nights and good sleep, it is something to consider carefully.
Overall, the apartment has a great location and plenty of potential, but it would benefit from more attention to maintenance and practical comfort for longer stays.
