Winderful service, wonderful food, wonderful staff, everything top quality. The sauna area was great and the hotel really focused everything on giving the customers a relaxed, hassle free and wonderful experience, and they succeeded in it 100%. Will definitely be back😊

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Good restaurants are only walking distance from the Hotel. The receptionist was really helpful when we checked in. She was one of the few highlights of our stay.
The location of the hotel is good but our room was opposite the street. The weather was extremely hot and as the room was without A/C the windows had to stay open during the night. With the breeze came even the sound of the cars passing by so even if we were on holiday we had to wake up at around 5 in the morning.
Breakfast was very very very disappointing. When I saw the pictures on booking.com I had high expectations for breakfast but they were shattered as soon as we entered the breakfast area on the first day. All the tables had a surname on them indicating to whom it was reserved. As no one came to meet us at the entrance of the restaurant we went looking for our table. After going around all the tables we had to seek a waiter to see where our table stood. She told us that we did not have one and we had to wait. So we stayed there looking at her as she went all around the restaurant in search of a table!!!
Not a good start... Apparently this hotel caters breakfast for a nearby hotel as well. So all the residents of the other hotel have their table but us, that we booked with Barbarahof have to wait. Finally our table was ready. During breakfast we had to seek the waiter 5 other times.... to replenish the fruit for the juicer, for the bowls of the cereals, for the glasses for the juice etc. Every item we went to get for breakfast either was finished or missing. I am a very understanding person but these are thing I do not want to deal with especially when I am on holiday. The same happened on the second morning. Plus the lady of the omelettes and crepes was missing. My children were really looking forward for the nutella crepes as there was not a good choice on sweet items and they loved the crepes of the previous day. Apparently the lady was on leave and no one was there to replace her. That is what the receptionist told us when we asked the reason why we had many more items to choose from on the first day.
