definitely would stay here again, good value.

great location only a km walk from Mindil beach, a bar and restaurant underneath the hotel and a bottle shop attached to the property

maybe a few more pillows on the beds would be perfect but otherwise comfortable

Great hotel with an even greater location.

Close to the city and downstairs had access straight to the pub, which patrons had a discount on drinks.

bathroom was a bit outdated but still functional.

Not central to Darwin City, and needs a face lift.

The pool is great

The bathroom and shower is in desperate need of renovation, there is no ventilation in the bathroom and the shower is similar to that of a sprinkler. The bed is uncomfortable and the hotel is a located out of the main part of Darwin city so it’s a lot of walking or paying for transport through taxi or Uber.

The staff were lovely the frontier pub did a great meal.

The location & price I choose the hotel because of the lap pool. The pool was clean ! and good to swim in

The pool area was very unkept everything overgrown and untidy.

Pleasant

Loved the shower pressure and that there were dryers included downstairs with the washers.

The first room I got put into reeked of cigarette smell and being a non smoker, I couldn’t handle it. The receptionist was nice enough to put me into room 1 which was great. Just wish the room had windows!

Great for the one night

Everything was lovely and clean, staff friendly and welcoming, bed really comfy, good pillows!

the lighting in the rooms is limited (one light in the entry and two bed lamps) there wasn't an extra blanket (and we had the air con off) and the bathroom door!!! SO heavy, just about had to shoulder it open everytime. The only mirror in the room was in the bathroom as well which was a little inconvenient. Hot water in the shower was also very hit and miss.

A lovely week in Darwin at the Frontier Hotel.

It was a very quiet place.

The air conditioner wasn’t cool enough for us.

Overpriced

Pub attached to the hotel was very convenient , discounted drinks and meals were very tasty and reasonably priced. Location was good, nice and quiet area just a 15 minute leisurely walk into cbd.

Could do with an upgrade, water marks on ceiling, towel rail falling off, chipped floor tiles in bathroom, air-conditioning struggled to keep the room cool and ants on walls and benches. Pictures on website are not true to reality. Certainly disappointed, considering the price.

In the end room provided was good.

Upon arriving at 2.00pm in morning the room we were given was ground floor opening up over carpark. No lights or aircon on. Very disappointed. My wife asked for another room which was provided. It was interesting that the new room (210) had light on and aircon. We wonder why we were not shown this room first??

Adequate accomodation but less than ideal environement

Check in staff were good and booking process simple.

Room cleanliness is poor with dust evident in many places. Noise from bar was appalling making it impossible to rest/sleep while entertainment was occurring and then the clean up of sliding chairs/tables for pack up was also poor. Need to either improve noise insulation or consider other options.
