Location and ease of getting there from the A road. Excellent choice of beers. Good well priced menu
Only a minor point - been woken up early by movement of beer casks and refuse bins- but fully understand that it’s a working pub not a hotel.

Easy check in, good information & room was great. Loved little extra touches like milk & water in fridge, home made shortbread biscuits & vety generous bathroom products. Ate in the restaurant & food was lovely.
Rooms were very warm, but a good size fan was provided.

Food n drink lovely. Room was so hot, yes it was a heatwave but, the window only opened an inch so no airflow. The shower leaked so bad it flooded the bathroom every time. Deliveries at 7am are a bit much and very loud.
Food and drinks, service in the bar was very good.
