Location, cleanliness, friendly and obliging staff. Communication about the location and procedures for entry was great!
The marketing pic on the booking.com advert was not exactly the same as the room we had. We didn’t know that we were booked in the annex building so we followed the gps to the main building at first, then followed the address given in the later message to find the right building. This was confusing. It should have been stated upfront in the listing.

Great central location. All sights within walking distance. Nice balcony on the top floor apartment with view across the canals.
Be prepared for a small place and steep staircase, which is not unusual for Venice.
