Good location and good value.
Comfortable beds and clean showers n loos.
Good bike locker room.
Good beer appreciated.
A bit of a shortage of medium and smaller sized pots for cooking.
Lounge area is rather stark and TV dominated.
A little tired generally , could be more homely somehow.

It became one of the favourite hostels I have visited. There was a warmness in the atmosphere and the common areas were excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful. The place location was also excellent. The kitchen really made things better and made it more like a hostel as a common space.
The cleanliness was also very prompt and nice.

Good price & lovely staff
Difficult location in relation to railway station (hilly!). Very noisy although I was in a private room - poor sound insulation in walls & floors.
