We had a very nice room with a view of the large, private lake. Breakfast was good, especially the made-to-order eggs. The owner, Chris, recommended a nearby restaurant, the "Wirtshaus Zum Löwen", just a 10 minute walk away and it was wonderful! My wife, a lifelong vegetarian, said her meal was one of the best of her life! High praise, indeed! The pork loin I chose was also delicious! Definitely choose the superior room, preferably the upper floor, with a full view of the lake! You can walk all around the lake and see the birds who call it home. One beautiful Heron, who apparently owns the lake, was frequently soaring, perhaps looking for fish!.

Das liebevoll vorbereitete Frühstück, die sehr freundlichen Gastgebenden und die wunderschöne Lage haben uns besonders gefallen. Der See direkt beim Gut ist herrlich und die Betten waren überraschend bequem. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer und besonderer Ort für eine kleine Auszeit.
Leider war die Unterkunft telefonisch nur schwer erreichbar. Gerade bei kurzfristigen Fragen wäre eine bessere telefonische Erreichbarkeit hilfreich gewesen.
