We have been before. We like the hotel and the staff are very friendly. Food was good . Room was excellent.

Very short on parking. Especially when it is raining

Lovely room, nice size had evrything in it we were expecting. Tea, coffee and biscuits. The bed was large and very comfortable. The room was beautifully clean.

On the first morning (we stayed for two nights) the shower was at best tepid. We were later getting up, about 10. On the second morning, (was up at 8am as check out was 9.30am) the shower was warm but again not hot which was very disappointing. We had dinner at the restaurant on the second night, which was extremely dissappointing, I had ordered two starters and been very clear it was my dinner and we would like my starters to come with my partners main. My food arrived, we waited 5 or so minutes but my partners food did not arrive. I asked how long it would be as my food was getting cold. A few minutes later his steak arrived. Undercooked and with practically raw chips. We did not send it back as my food was neraly cold already. In a very British fashion we just ate it. I did afterward complain to the waitress who offered us a dessert (we were already full) which we refused. She said she would speak to her manager, who declined to come over himself and apologise or speak to us. Left a very bad taste in our mouths. Can not, at all, recommend the restaurant. Or the room if you like your showers hot.
