Good location, easily accessible to everything; train station, sightseeing, shopping, grocery & eatery. Good air-conditioning and cold drinking water saved us in these hot days. Enough cooking utensils to prepare simple meal.
Building is a bit old.

The best things about the hotel was that it was within walking distance to le petit France area, and the off-street parking (for a fee). The room was quiet.
Our "deluxe" suite had poor quality fittings. The hotel is not close to cafes or restaurants. Also, the wifi kept dropping out in our room.

The price and the 11 am checkout time are beneficial. They have lockers for your luggage, so this is handy if you want to explore the area more before getting to your next location. They are big enough for a 10kg rucksack or roll-on but not a full-sized suitcase. You can get a taxi to take you to the front door of the hotel; not the case for some, as Strasbourg has tram lines and cobbled streets, so limited areas for cars.
The staff are very friendly, and there is a nice selection of breakfast items available.
The rooms are very dated and basic. I did not like the location; it is not in the nice section of Petit France and as a lone traveller I felt far safer and enjoyed the sister hotel which is in a much nicer location near the square and also is very updated and modern.
