The room is "small" only if you're not used to rooms in Japan. Clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. You can adjust the air-conditioner yourself, which isn't always the case these days, so that was an extra plus. The onsen on the top floor is very nice! After trekking around Nagoya ( a great city! ) in the summertime heat, it was wonderful to come back to the hotel and wash off the sweat and relax and soak up some fresh air in the main bath and open-air bath. The breakfast was very good. If you're looking for "healthy options", probably enough, but not a lot. On the other hand, if you're looking for a taste of Nagoya and something to fuel you through the day, excellent. In short, tasty and I didn't need lunch! I didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff, but the young woman who helped me check in was charming. As for the location, it's not in the "happening" part of town, but the subway station is basically just outside the door, so I found it very easy to go to wherever I wanted to go. I've stayed at a lot of APA hotels and have never had a bad, or even a semi-bad experience. This APA also gets a big thumbs up! Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

Close to everything. Close to 2 subway lines. Clean. Spa was perfect and big.
Pillows and mattress were thin. Breakfast lacked some western options - pancakes or waffles.

There is a separate unson for women and men, but you have to take the elevator and go up to the 14 level to get it
The room was kind of tiny and it was too crowded for two person plus the bathroom isn’t really clean and new so I would say it’s not a very good value for this price. The men’s spa is also kind of old-fashioned and not clean
