Very clean and comfortable accomodation. The room has been refurbished tastefully and included a self contained kitchen with microwave and full sized fridge. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen, and the bed cover was clean! (didnt feel like it had 1000 people lying on it before me) the bathroom is still circa 1980, but was clean and the towels were fluffy. Showere was powerful and hot.
The real let down here was the quality of the bathroom liquid soap and the combination shower gel/shampoo/conditioner. it looked and smelled cheap. I always pack spares from stays in other hotels, and the shower gel was stored on the window sil, which was quite high and hard to reach. Not a game changer, I would certainly stay here again, just something that could be improved.

The price was good for the facilities within the room. We requested a quiet room and we were given the option to upgrade to the two-bedroom apartment for a little bit extra. It was definitely worth it as it was huge. We didn't use the spare bedroom. The location was very close to friends that we were visiting and access to the Botanical hotel was very handy.
They were doing renovations and the cowboys that were cleaning it up just made a huge bonfire in the area behind the motel and lit a fire burning off all sorts of waste that should have been taken to landfill. The smoke was horrific and I hate to think what we were breathing. Luckily we were not there during the day but the smell was obvious even at night.
