Great pool for kids

Fantastic pool area, BBQ, tennis court, opposite a calm beach and a park nearby. Nice walking path along the waterfront. We enjoyed the warm spa, and kids spent hours in the pool and on the slide.

We had 2 units for a large family gathering. The airconditioning in one of the units was not working properly. It was January in Queensland, very hot and uncomfortable. Some staff disregarded our complaints, others tried to help with a portable air conditioner in one bedroom. Overall this affected our enjoyment of the extended weekend stay and made it very difficult to sleep. The initial response from our complaint was very unsatisfactory.

It was an enjoyable stay (apart from the cold pool in Winter)

The room was clean and spacious and had a nice view of the pool, the customer service was responsive, close to the beach, spa bath was nice

We stayed in July (Winter) and the outside pool was advertised as being ‘heated’ in the booking description, however the water was cold so we couldn’t go in the pool which was disappointing.

Too expensive.

Would have preferred a unit further away from the road noise and with full view of water and Golden beach and passage. Our view was limited from 78. Furniture needs update. Lounge uncomfortable and larger bed would be a improvement

Traffic noise and limited views and small beds. I was disappointed. I had always wanted to stay at Gemini but thought it was too expensive. However this was a birthday gift for me but it was less than I had expected of a 5 star resort

Single beds were uncomfortable, small and old. The smell in the basement and the lifts at times was extremely bad.

Hidden gem

Fantastic view, excellent spacious room with comfortable furniture and facilities, loved the nearby beach, shops, cafe and transport.

Not a resort

In a great spot close to restaurants, Pumice Stone passage, walkways and parks

This unit number 87 is in desperate need of a refurb, it had a leaky shower, the walls need repainting and holes patching, not worth the amount of money we paid for 2 nights. Lifts and stairs all smelt awful 😖

The service from the manager/owner of the apartment was extremely rude to me, when there was a beeping noise in my apartment. He came up to do litterly nothing. He said he doesn’t know what it is, and I asked what happens If this happens all night? His response “well I hope it doesn’t” and Said nothing else: I said well I hope not too. He said “ you’d have to call me I guess”. When mentioning to possibly the wife also manager, she defended him when she wasn’t even there to see how he spoke to me. I said would have been nice to be offered another room for my kids and when I’ve spent $400 a night. And she responded oh no we couldn’t have got you in another room- meanwhile 2 buildings, and car park only a quarter full. Definitely was not even half booked out. Wouldn’t stay here again.

View was amazing. Apartment was nice. Pool was nice.

That guests threw a party on our 2nd day and we were unable to fully use the spa area. The lack of signage for the bins. The outside is being renovated so its looks quite unsightly. Inside could use a big upgrade and decor freshen up.

We moved the beds to put together and the floor was very dusty. Found chocolate and shoes under the bed from other people. The light covers need to be taken off for a good clean. The curtains need to be replaced and air vents put in the bathrooms

Wonderful all of us had a very relaxing time!

My family just loved it especially the heated pool in winter a bonus!Loved the shops nearby.Boys went fishing.Boat Club handy!Wonderful views & the weather was great.We will be back next year! Ok

The bedrooms were a bit small, but didn’t really matter,only there to sleep! Maybe the broom & dustpan could be washed!

Dead cockroach under bed. Plates and cutlery too old. Only one sachet of laundry powder offered. Apartment in general quite dusty.
