We were greeted at the airport by the absolutely fabulous and glamorous Barbra and our lovely driver. Our room was nice and comfortable although to be honest probably not as cool and luxurious as I expected from the photos. And they also left us some cake for our joint 60th birthday which was thoughtful.
We ordered room service which was slow and a bit confused but it was midnight in fairness to them, and when we arrived at breakfast in the morning we wandered through the garden first to see the pool as we were checking out that morning and an unfriendly older waiter came flying out of the breakfast room looking at us almost as though we were trespassers - we're in our 60s and were reasonably well dressed so it was a little strange.

Tribe Hotel is a beautifully designed property with a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere. The architecture and interior design are impressive, and the hotel has a great balance between luxury and comfort. The rooms were spacious, stylish and comfortable, while the staff were warm, professional and attentive. The location in Gigiri is excellent, particularly for exploring Nairobi, and the overall experience felt genuinely upscale without being overly formal.
There was very little to dislike. If anything, some services could be a little more efficient during busy periods, but this did not take away from an otherwise excellent stay.

The staff were attentive and kind. The room was clean with all the aminities. The shower was clean and water hot. The fridge had complimentary drinks. The complimentary chocolate left in the room every day was a wonderful extra comfort.
Generally the place was excellent. However, the room was a bit small for a couple. Breakfast was decent but the choices were limited. In addition, I had requested for lactose free daily milk for my breakfast but they forgot. I only took it on the last day
