We really enjoyed our one-night stay. The staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming, the hotel was very clean, and check-in/check-out was simple with great communication throughout. We were also pleasantly surprised by the bathroom as we’re quite picky, and the location was really convenient for us.
The room was a little dark, although that felt quite fitting for the character and atmosphere of an older building. There were also quite a few steps, including steps into the bathroom which we had to be careful of at night - it wasn’t a concern for us, but could be worth bearing in mind for anyone with mobility difficulties.

The room was a very good size
Temperature of room some days was too cool, they shut the pub a few days due to maintenance issues meaning we were at times forced to leave or enter through odd corridors via a night entrance and breakfast at times was lack luster. I stay somewhere nearby for a similar price and its far far nicer
