This was perhaps the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in, and we're retired. The bedroom was large, the bed super comfortable and the view spectacular. The bathroom was clean, modern and spacious. The living area was well equipped, tastefully decorated and a perfect place to relax looking across the jungle to the sea.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. Nothing was to much trouble.
The attention to detail was generally outstanding.
Great breakfast with good choices. Restaurantsf or evening meals also good and reasonably priced in a beautiful setting.
We would definitely recommend.

Ambong Rainforest Retreat was such a beautiful haven. We loved all the wildlife and nature around us. You can watch monkeys from the trees whilst you eat breakfast. The vegan restaurant was also delicious. You must try the Japanese restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Incredible Japanese food!

Quiet retreat in the middle of the rainforest, away from the hustle and bustle but easy to go and explore if you wanted to. Absolutely amazing staff who were welcoming and helpful. Lots of nature around, did yoga with the monkeys, spotted lots of birds and a giant black squirrel from my window.
