great close location to centre of town, good price.

The motel is well located and close to the town and the Taupo Lake. I always select an apartment with a lake view as it is so relaxing to view the golf “ball in one” activity and lake boats, canoes, balloons and locals walking along the pathways. The apartments are well maintained and clean. The motel has a lap pool and jacuzzi. The staff are helpful and polite.
I have no complaints about this Taupo Lake Apartment Motel. I will be back next year.

Comfy bed. Some sky channels (not a lot though). Quiet. Friendly. Convenient parking but not allotted to anyone in particular so sometimes you come back and have nowhere to park. Close to many places to eat and “play”.
Bit dirty. Not enough soap. “Conditioning shampoo” was terrible on my hair. Horrible steep stairs so not great for people with poor knees. Unsafe remote with sellotaped batteries that my one year old got into in a few seconds. No “view” of the river.
