The location was a 3 minute drive from town, close and convenient. The cabins were a good size and the bed was comfy. Free WIFI, friendly dog, and the bathroom and kitchen were kept clean.

I recently booked a single room for a one-night stay at Braemar House, and it was a fantastic experience. Right from check-in, the staff was super friendly and incredibly welcoming.
The cleanliness of the entire property was outstanding. My room was perfectly prepped, and the shared spaces—specifically the toilets and the communal kitchen—were super clean and extremely well-maintained.
What really makes this place special is the building itself. It has a really cool, old-world aesthetic, and you can easily feel the rich history in its architecture. It adds a wonderful layer of charm and character to the stay. I had a brilliant time and will absolutely be visiting again!

Friendly host, good location right by the water, and everything is clean.
Absolutely the worst night I’ve had in years. The bed was extremely unstable and moved with every little movement from the guest below me. The host told me I needed to sleep on the top bunk. The guest arrived late and was extremely loud—it wasn’t snoring anymore, it sounded like a plane taking off. I barely slept for 5 minutes. The noise isn’t their fault of course, but the unstable bed definitely is.
If it weren’t for the friendly host, great location, and cleanliness, I would rate my stay a 1.
