The little touches that made us comfortable. Maryanne looked after us so well. Maryanne and Barry are beautiful people. We felt like we were visiting old friends. The breakfasts were amazing!! The gardens were lovely to explore. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was gorgeous. We would highly recommend staying here, and we will be back! Thank you, Barry, for showing my husband your hobby. He loved chatting with you.
There is absolutely nothing we didn't like. It was the perfect holiday.

This was a very relaxing and comfortable stay in a beautifully maintained and decorated period house set in lovely garden surroundings. Maryann was a very friendly and welcoming host and the breakfast that she provided was top class with all the trimmings.

My second visit to Gumnut House & I cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s like home away from home - Maryann has thought of everything. The bed is so comfortable, lovely clean well appointed bathroom which has a great shower & bath. It’s down a quiet driveway, so had a restful sleep, but only a short distance to the town centre, Saturday market, & other attractions. The lounge was cosy & warm, & has everything a guest would need if you wanted to have a quiet night in: microwave, cutlery, wine glasses etc. Nothing was too much trouble - a delicious continental breakfast was waiting for me in the morning…I will be back!
