George the concierge was very helpful and managed all our attraction ticket bookings. He even went the extra mile to send an itinerary for how to get around the attractions to get the most from the experience. Thank you very much George!
It is quite old in terms of decor and bathroom facilities. The restaurant has a huge western menu but limited Asian dish choices. Would have preferred more local food options but since we couldn’t speak mandarin, we couldn’t ask for it.

Good location with easy walk into town.
Gym was poor quality and very old, needs update and refurbishment.
Although the swimming pool looked inviting it was policed by an overzealous pool attendant who obviously failed an interview with the police force, taking up a role at the Pullman hotel instead. Providing a pool and leisure facilities requires appropriate customer service & aligning to customer needs, not shouting & running around the pool pursing guests who have contravened some minor 'pool rule' (swimming under bridge).
Also surprised that for a '5-Star' rated hotel guests are charged additional fees for every leisure facility, e.g. table tennis, snooker, swimming float, swimming cap etc. All rather petty.
Breakfast was more about volume rather than quality with too many guests who weren't residing at the hotel.
Rooms although spacious were dated and need refurbishment.
