We loved absolutely everything about our stay at this hotel. Before we even booked our room, their concierge was already helping me decorate the room for our honeymoon. Staff are extremely patient, polite and pay so much attention to detail. Room service staff are so nice and do an amazing job.
The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention the really beautiful garden that has a surprise display every hour. It’s conveniently located near the most popular districts and easily reached by public transport or Uber/taxi.
All in all, a must-try experience. Can't wait to stay here again.

This is an very beautiful and well appointed hotel. The room and amenties in the room are excellent. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. There was plenty of room to put the clothes away. Bathroom was well laid out with a good vanity and excellent shower.
The location is very poor for a tourist. It is not close to public transport, except for a bus that took a few days to discover, no thanks to the hotel staff. It is not close to anything really. The staff at the reception desk were unhelpfull and obstructive. We arrived extremely early in the morning and they were not able to give us an early check-in as requested. Fair enough if the hotel is full, but most high-end hotels would offer a shower in their facilities, especially in this Japanes hotel that has a very nice spa/Onsen. We have certainly had this in other Tokyo hotels without any issue. It took quite a bit of convincing to get them to agree. After all, we had already fully paid for the accommodation and done the check-in paperwork. When asked for directions to the nearest Metro station from the concierge desk (a good 20 minute non-flat walk), we were directed to a steep path and the road, when the station is 1 stop on the bus outside the other entrance. Hopeless advice. On check-out, they initially refused to give the receipt for payment. Eventually I could have a printed receipt (only after I insisted and a fair bit of argument) or an email but not both. When we left the girl on reception said an email was not possible. I have never experienced such unhelpful front of office staff. And BTW bring plenty of money with you - it's expensive eg easily $100 for breakfast for 2 with horrible brewed coffee.
