Wonderful hotel in the heart of the Port Louis Marina, and they even have their own water taxi to transport you over to the Caudan district. Room was spacious with a huge, super comfortable bed. The gym is open 24 hours and is super well equipped. Loved the attentiveness of the reception staff.
The breakfast was the only somewhat disappointing part, while it was an okay buffet, it felt a bit lacking for a hotel of this caliber.

The port location was close to the shops and restaurants. Some museums were also walking distance, so overall it was a nice location with good amenities.
There were no beaches close by as the hotel location is in Port Louis which is close to the city but not the famous Mauritius beaches. However, you could go there with a short taxi ride.

Reception staff were great and did everything I asked....very friendly and arranged my luggage from Taxi to Room, Room to Taxi. Informed me I was getting 10% off food and beverage if paying by Visa.
The staff in general are very pleasant and helpful...seems to enjoy working in the hospitality industry and well trained. Was on half board package so had 1500 MUR / per person towards the meal, which is ample for starter and main course.
Only negative was the breakfast.....cooked Pork bacon and sausages were not good quality. Better if you ordered when arrived, similars to the Egg Station, the poached eggs were excellent.

Location was convenient. Breakfast buffet was good. Hammam and pool in the spa were nice.
The mould smell. You could tell from the heavily fragrance hallway it was an on going issue. Every time we returned to our room the mould smell was really evident. Shower was mouldy and felt unclean too. Outdoor pool was under maintenance with no notice.
