Good

Very nice place to stay. The aircon didnt work the best but it was reasonable.

The menu could have been a little more versatile, also the portion sizes were very small for the price.

Beautiful place, definitely our choice if we return to Port Douglas

The villa was incredible, the layout, felt relaxed and the grounds were beautiful. The staff all so helpful and lovely. So quiet and peaceful. Great location, felt like we weren’t even in Australia, yet our own little oasis.

We love staying here because of the Villas however we won’t stay again due to the lack of decent food and service

The villas are amazing! very spacious private and comfortable! location is good and the gardens are beautiful

The restaurant is terrible and the level of service is terrible. They desperately need a decent chef and some effort out into food! like other hotels people would travel to this place for food if it was quality.

Beautiful setting with

Breakfast provided a variety of options and was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting and great location. Would stay again.

The kitchen needed a more thorough clean. The sink, bin and dishwasher were dirty. The lounge couch could be replaced as well. We did plan on cooking and it was one of the reasons we stayed at Niramaya but the kitchen let us down.

Pleasant

Breakfast was ok but tried to fancy it up too much. Lunch was the same not enough variety.

Our spa did not work in our room which we paid alot of money for and we couldn't utilise it

Excellent, great facility, grounds and staff

Breakfast menu was OK. Location was lovely and the shuttle service with SR worked well. Villa was private and the grounds/gardens were beautiful and well maintained Staff were very friendly and helpful

Private, peaceful haven that we would visit again in a heartbeat!

We loved how private the villa was - and how it could be opened to the environment by opening the long bifold doors and closed when needed for cooling down. The private plunge pool was divine and we loved watching the birdlife on the lake. All facilities for cooking were available. Seeing as the dining area could not be open in the current situation, the hotel went out of its way to make sure we had access to breakfast and lunch facilities. Very comfy beds too!

I don't think there was anything that we didn't like.

Tropical and relaxing but too many bugs

The resort was lovely and had all facilities. The main pool was great and the landscaping and outlook of the villas was excellent.

But the restaurant was not open for dinner or room service and the openness of the rooms meant there were a lot of bugs in the house

Weekend getaway.

What an absolutely incredible experience my partner and I just had at Nirimaya. It felt like we left the world behind for the weekend and completely recharged our batteries. Far beyond our expectations. Thank you.

Over all not bad, very expensive 5 star!

Nice clean spacious living!

The bed was terrible and gave me and my pregnant partner sleepless nights! You could feel the springs! No dinner in restaurant was disappointing!

A great family holiday

the restaurant was overpriced but the service was good. Our villa was very nice but was beginning to show some ware and tear. some maintenance will be needed shortly if you wish to charge top prices.

the plunge pool was is poor repair. There was not enough sun protection around the pool area for use during the day. the sprinkler system was set to come on just as we could of used the outside space in the late afternoon. Very annoying.

Comfortable and relaxing

The property was exceptional in appointments, comfort and size. The Restaurant food was very good and the restaurant staff were very helpful, polite, and friendly and helpul. The house keeping and maintance staff were also helpful with very good communications skills.

The check in could have been a little more helful in describing the property and checkout requirements.
