Frukosten var väldigt stor, ägg, frukt, flingor/wetabix, kaffe, stekta grönsaker, bröd etc. Frukostpersonalen var den absolut trevligaste på boendet. Alltid med ett leende. En dag skulle vi på safari tidigt, och vi frågade efter packad lunch, vilket vi fick. Hotellet låg nära till nairobi national park och galleria mall där man kan köpa simkort från safaricom, handla på carrefour eller dricka gott kaffe på javahouse. Personalen var generellt mycket trevlig. Vi efterfrågade tidigare incheckning eftersom vårt flyg landade tidigt, vilket vi fick. Boendet har en mycket vacker trädgård.
Kylen fungerade inte i vårt rum, vi påtalade det, de kontrollerade ett annat rums kyl vilket inte heller fungerade. Det finns ingen fläkt eller AC på rummet, vi efterfrågade fläkt, men fick den aldrig.
När man svänger av från vanliga vägen för att köra ner till hotellet är vägen extremt dålig och guppig, ej asfalterad. Varje taxichaufför klagade till oss att deras bilar blir förstörda av vägen. Hotellet bör verkligen lägga investering i att fixa vägen till hotellet. Aporna utanför skriker en del, vilket väckte oss på natten. Vi hade önskat handdusch i duschen(inte bara uppifrån).

Prices in the area are quite high so Hotel Troy was a nice alternative for a one night stay. The surroundings are very quiet and the staff is very friendly.
The general state of the Hotel is relatively poor. We arrive on saturday and there were private events all around the hotel and around the pool. There was a kids event and there were empty plates, masks everywhere. Our cottage was located at the end of the property, very quiet. But it has not been renovated for quite some time. Bathrooms were very old, cracks between the tiles with aunts colony in the rooms. Happy it was only for one night
