Really good location just behind where the Intercity Bus stops.
Nice, friendly staff. Beautiful property with beautiful outdoor/indoor spaces.
Showers are a little far from our room, and it would be nice if there were more hooks and hangers and places where we can place our toiletries, towel, and clothes for changing.

The hostel is well located in Westport and has everything you would need from a hostel.
I was planning to stay 3 nights but cut it short due to the place and westport not being what I was expecting, but if you’re just passing through westport then this is a great place to be!
The hostel evidently gets most of its income from group tours such as the Kiwi Experience or G Adventures and so lots of their offerings are really only when those groups are staying, such as the pizza nights or surf lessons. It means the hostel is a lot less social than one might expect as the groups socialise internally and westport is a small place.
