Strada Marina Hotel

Located in a convenient location with many shops and places to dine nearby. Room was fine, good air conditioning, and included breakfast is decent.

I found the bed very hard. The property is quite dated with its prime likely a few decades ago. Overall though a good affordable option for a few nights.

The room overlooked the Marina. It was spacious and clean. Agape and Aggeliki at the reception desk were exceptional. Aggeliki was a world of knowledge and everything we asked her to recommend was right on point. Out stay was made that little much better because of her attentiveness.

The breakfast was good; I appreciated that one morning, when I was feeling unwell, the reception staff allowed my boyfriend to bring my food up to the room. The cleanliness was fine—they tidied up our room every day.

Considering its central location, the hotel is quite old. While the lobby looks nice and modern, the rooms and elevators leave much to be desired. There are no power outlets near the beds, and the air conditioning is very old and struggles to cope in the summer heat. It is pleasantly cool at the reception, but the elevators and hallways are very hot. There is no light inside the fridge, and the freezer compartment hasn't been defrosted, so it doesn't actually freeze anything. The bathroom ventilation doesn't work. For women, none of the mirrors provide good lighting for applying makeup. On our last day, we wanted to sleep in a bit because we had a 1,500 km drive ahead of us; we requested a packed breakfast and received two very large bags containing just two slices of ham-and-bread sandwiches, two cookies, and a 250ml orange juice—far too little compared to the full spread usually available in the morning, and the food wasn't even packed in a proper container.
