Wow - what a great place to stay. Definitely one of the highlights during our 10 day itinerary. The hosts really made us feel like special guests with a handwritten welcome, extra attention during dinner, and great introduction to the property. The dinner was truly exceptional and everyone agreed it was the best during our trip. Three in our family requested vegetarian and the chef came out to introduce himself and make sure what he had planned would work - it was totally amazing. We even received a brief tour of their unique wood oven and watched our meals go into the oven. The natural hot spring, cold pool, and sauna area are equally amazing. Such a treat to stay here!

Great spot along the ring road. The hot tub area was well designed with a sauna, multiple heated sections and a cold plunge. The dinner was excellent and the staff was really kind (the chef made a personal accomodation for us to get a special chocolate dessert we had seen on his instagram previously). Definitely recommend a stay here.

The hotel is set in a peaceful and beautiful environment, and the room was very clean and comfortable. It is a family-run property, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded our room and kindly took us to feed their horses, which was a wonderful experience.
We were very impressed with the quality and taste of the dinner. As we had to leave early the next morning, they thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. The hotel also has a hot spa, which was perfect for relaxing before bed.
The location is excellent, very close to the famous Goðafoss waterfall, making it convenient for sightseeing.
