Room was spacious, bed very comfortable. Had an issue with the tv settings which very friendly staff rectified the next day. Decor was a bit tired but that's really the only thing I can say against the place. It was still very clean.

Beds were very comfortable. Spacious room. Parking in front. Restaurant meals were great.
Quite noisy from traffic going past. Ensuite could do with a renovation but was spacious.

The bed was soft and towels and linen professionally laundered. I paid $160 for a double which was reasonably good value.
I stayed during Covid when it had different managers who were really nice. They gave me a free upgrade to the executive rooms which are really nice, so probably my expectations were raised. I really didn't like my room which smelt on entry and there was nowhere to put things except a round dining table. Even the fridge had the tea and coffee making stuff on it and could not be utilized. If you had a large suitcase you'd just have to lay it out on the floor. I had no toiletries in my room, but this was just an oversight (I hope!) by the cleaners and the reception guy brought soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner over when I discovered this.
Also, unlike the executive rooms in the rear block, there are 6 steps up to each regular room and no rail! The time you totally need a rail for stairs is when you are carrying luggage, regardless of mobility needs!
Even though the motel was not booked out they put me next to very noisy and inconsiderate neighbours. These people talked loudly until midnight, also blaring the TV, often swearing. At 5am they were at it again! I rang reception at 7.55pm not to report them but to request a later check out due to these people. I rang several more times but the phone always rang out! The motel do NOT appear to have evening support for requests. In the morning I got through to reception and was denied an 11am checkout but told I could have until 10.30am which I am grateful for.
I looked at the restaurant menu and plated hot breakfast like $25, for the dinner menu $15 for entrees, $30+ for main meals.
In all, I'd recommend you go for the executive rooms only and pray you won't need them into the evening or after hours as they don't pick up the phone!
